Do you know that polling unit agents now have right to be present at INEC office to witness distribution of election materials, electronic Voting machine and voting devices and to follow same down to polling units? Section 41(3) of Electoral Act 2022. This is an improvement from the earlier position that polling agents only work in polling units or restricted to their polling units.

Agents can now follow election materials from INEC office to anywhere be it hell or heaven. Political Parties and candidates must therefore have their agents prepared and trained for this and other new roles of party agents.
