APC UK Chapter Endorses President Tinubu for Second Term, Citing Remarkable Reforms
The United Kingdom chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term, lauding his administration’s reforms and developmental progress.
The endorsement was announced during a general meeting of the APC UK chapter in London, coinciding with the second anniversary of Tinubu’s presidency. The group also revealed plans to organize a large rally later this year to celebrate the president and galvanize support within the Nigerian diaspora.
In a memo dated May 25 and jointly signed by the chapter’s Secretary, Chief Momoh Obaro, and Chairman, Tunde Doherty, the APC UK chapter expressed unwavering confidence in Tinubu’s leadership, describing it as “visionary” and transformative. The endorsement letter was addressed to the president via the APC National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, and delivered to the party’s National Secretary, Senator Ajibola Basiru, during his recent visit to the UK.

The chapter highlighted the administration’s successes in infrastructure development, economic stabilization, security reforms, youth empowerment, and global diplomatic engagement as key reasons for their support.
“Your bold reforms and unwavering commitment to national development have significantly repositioned Nigeria on the global stage,” the letter added.
The decision to endorse Tinubu will be ratified at a major event later this year, to which the president and party executives will be formally invited.
Chief Obaro, an experienced politician and former Kogi State governorship aspirant, also reaffirmed the chapter’s trust in the APC National Executive Committee during the presentation of the letter.
The APC UK chapter reiterated its commitment to Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda and expressed optimism about the president’s ability to steer Nigeria toward greater prosperity.
