Good afternoon Gentlemen of the Bar
Permit me to use this medium to say a very big thank you to all of you for the support given to me in the course of the struggle to retrieve the soul of the Unity Bar.
On 2nd March, 2017, the NEC of the NBA met in Aba, Abia State to resolve the lingering crisis in NBA Abuja branch. The President of the NBA stated in no uncertain terms that he did not intend to adopt the Kanu Agabi SAN Committee Report  but rather muted the idea of balkanizing the Unity Bar into Apo and Jabi branches of the NBA.
I felt pained at the idea of dividing the branch into two. We cannot seek to destroy the very Bar we seek to lead. At NEC in Aba, my election was nullified and I was banned from re-contesting the election.
If that decision will bring a lasting peace to the Unity Bar, so be it. The larger body of the Unity Bar deserves peace and I apologize for the inconveniences and embarrassment my actions may have caused you individually and collectively.
Let us reunite as one fold and build a bigger and better Unity Bar.
I may have been the sacrificial lamb for this attainable peace, I plead that we give peace a chance. God bless us all.
