‘Best Dressed Advocate’: LAWSAN initiates Ebun-Olu Adegboruwa, SAN’s Prize
The Law Students’ Association of Nigeria (LAWSAN), has initiated an award in honour of a distinguished right Activist termed Ebun-Olu Adegboruwa, SAN, SAN’s Prize For Best Dressed Advocate”.
In a letter of appeal signed by the Chief Justice of LAWSAN, Justice Balogun Sofiyullahi, OOL, and made available to BarristerNG.
According to the council, this is to promote advocacy spirit amongst Nigerian Law students.

The Council in the letter is requesting the right Activist to sponsor the Best Dressed Student Advocate in the forthcoming LAWSAN convention at Nassarawa State University, Keffi.
“The award for the Best Dressed Student Advocate is tagged “EBUN-OLU ADEGBORUWA, SAN’s PRIZE FOR BEST DRESSED ADVOCATE” hence the need to solicit his sponsorship of the award.
The Council praised Adegboruwa for his great respect, humility and support to LAWSAN, urging him to consider their appeal.
It should be noted that the Law Students’ Association of Nigeria (LAWSAN) is an umbrella body of law across the country and usually holds an annual convention for Law students’ across different law Faculties.
This year’s convention is not different as it hopes to promote advocacy spirit amongst Nigerian Law students. It also usually organize Moot Court Competition for Faculties of law during the convention to show-case the expertise of student Advocates and reward their excellence.
This year’s Convention is scheduled to hold in Nassarawa State from 31st October, 2021 to 2nd November, 2021 and the theme of the Convention is “STRONGER TOGETHER”.
