Bisi Makanjuola, a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, Lagos branch has congratulated the female team of the branch on the historic feat of lifting the cup in the inaugural female football competition of the NBA AGC.

The Premier Queens as the team is known defeated the Abuja branch ladies 1-0 in a hotly contested match at the Onikan Stadium Lagos at the ongoing NBA AGC. The only goal of the match was scored by Soliat Ololade in the second half of the keenly contested encounter.

Mr. Makanjuola had shown his support to the female team from the inception of their training program in July when he donated training bibs, socks,footballs,and jerseys to them. He also attended the team’s training sessions as they prepared for the match, and made a monetary promise to them for every goal scored.

Bisi Makanjuola was again present at Onikan Stadium and cheered the team from start to finish as they despatched the Abuja branch ladies.

According to Mr. Makanjuola; the players were brave, determined and fought hard to achieve victory in the match and was very proud to be their number one cheerleader.

Being a football enthusiast, Mr. Makanjuola also pledged his continuous support and assistance to the team in a bid to sustain and maintain the great strides achieved as the number one NBA female team in the country.
