Bwari Branch Elections: Comply with the Uniform Bye Law within 7 days- Olagunju Writes Nafagha
Following the Petition written by Felix Ashimole Esq (Popularly Known as “Che Oyinatumba”) of the Nigerian Bar Association Bwari Branch against the candidacy of one of the Mr I O Peters Esq and the Branch Electoral Commission, the General Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association, Mr A.I Olagunju has written to the Chairman of Bwari Branch B.O Nafagha Esq to ensure compliance with the NBA Uniform Bye Law 2015.
In a letter written to Mr Nafagha and copied to the petitioner Mr Ashimole, The NBA Scribe mandated the Bwari Chair to comply with the uniform bye law within 7 days from the receipt of the letter.
Mr Ashimole had in a petition addressed to the National Secretariat of the NBA complained of the non compliance of the Uniform Bye Law by the electoral committee of the Branch in the qualification of Mr I.O Peters who he alleged paid his Practicing fee late in breach of the Uniform Bye Law.

According to Mr Ashimole, Mr Peters scored “an own goal” when he failed to pay his Bar Practice Fee as and when due. He further congratulated one Mr M.I Tsav Esq as the incoming Chairman of Bwari Branch.
