Lawyers had in 23rd July 2020 gathered in front of the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) building on Tigris Crescent, Abuja to protest against the leadership of Mr Garba Abubakar which they described as inefficient and dictatorial.
The lawyers, had accused Abubakar who is the Registrar General and Chief Executive Officer of the CAC of frustrating President Muhammadu Buhari’s Ease of Doing Business reforms.
The lawyers lamented the treatment and introduction of manual processes which they claimed have taken the management of the CAC back to the 80s. The Lawyers accused Mr Abubakar of being only concerned about making money and frustrating lawyers.
