FIDA LAGOS has put her foot down against the gender based injustice in our society. I thereforeand hereby laud the amiable chairperson Chinwe Efobi Esq and her indefatigable Executive Team for their ceaseless efforts which alligns with this year’s choice of theme “GENDER BASED VIOLENCE,STEMMING THE TIDE.”

It is particularly delightful that this year’s carefully chosen theme which revolves around the female gender and her vulnerability comes at about the time the world commemorates the international Day for elimination of Violence Against Women. It is my sincere desire and hope that this Year’s law week will tackle this panacea to the root factors and pave way for a more equitable and female friendly society for all Women, always.

I wish you fruitful deliberations and a great time of Sisterly bonding interalia.
In the final analysis, may all participants reach their various Stations safely after the close of the auspicious event.
