Chief Joe-Kyari Gadzama SAN has lost his very close and beloved maternal uncle, Lamar Abbagana Gadzama who died in Abuja hospital at the age of 72 after a protracted illness.

Recounting his last encounter with the late Lamar Abbagana Gadzama in an emotion laden tone on Friday, Chief J-K Gadzama SAN said:” I just lost my maternal Uncle today at Zenith Laboratory & Kidney Center, Abuja.
“He was the last born in my late mother’s family.

The late Abbagana was with the defunct ICON Merchant Bank before joining the defunct Afribank and thereafter retired.

“He is survived by his wife Grace Lamar Abbagana and 4 children – Parmata, Lintima, Badami and Mai Aji.
“He died after protracted illness at the age of 72. My son Lamar was named after him.
“We shall sorely miss him. Burial arrangements shall follow soon. May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace, amen” Chief Gadzama SAN stated.
