The Fellowship is designed to recognise individuals who have demonstrated substantial professional experience, expertise, achievement and commitment to Arbitration, Mediation and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) or related professional fields.
Successful applicants admitted as Fellows of CIAM Nigeria will be entitled to use the distinguished professional designation “FCIAM” (Fellow, Chartered Institute of Arbitration and Mediation)
The designation represents a senior level of professional recognition within the Institute and is intended for practitioners and professionals whose experience and accomplishments demonstrate the requisite standard for Fellowship.
WHO IS THE FELLOWSHIP FOR?
The Pioneer Fellowship is particularly suited to:
* Experienced legal practitioners;
* Established Arbitration and Mediation practitioners;
* Fellows or senior members of reputable professional ADR institutions;
* Experienced professionals with substantial ADR practice or related accomplishments; and
* Other distinguished professionals who satisfy the Institute’s applicable Fellowship criteria.
Applicants are expected to provide relevant evidence of their professional experience, qualifications, practice, accomplishments and/or professional standing for consideration.
CIAM Nigeria recognises that professional excellence does not always follow a single pathway.
Accordingly, the Institute may consider an application for waiver of specified Fellowship requirements where an applicant demonstrates exceptional professional experience, qualifications, accomplishments or standing that, in the opinion of the Institute, merits such consideration.
Any application for waiver will be subject to the Institute’s established review and approval process.
WHY BECOME A PIONEER FELLOW?
