Dr. Mazi Udegbulem: Profile of A committed Bar Man and Candidate for the office of NBA Chairman, Owerri Branch

Dr. Mazi Udegbulem

A quintessential Bar leader and consummate academia, Dr. Mazi Udegbulem hails from Orlu local government in Imo state. Dr. Udegbulem was called to Bar in 2006 and has been in active legal practice, especially litigation.

He is a lecturer at the Faculty of Law, Imo State University, Owerri. He was a Research Assistant to Hon. Justice M.O Ojo of Ogun State High Court 2, Ijebu-Ode. He served as the President of the Law Student Association, (LAWSA) Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.

Udegbulem has held numerous positions in the Nigerian Bar Association Owerri branch and they include; Assistant Secretary from June 2014-June 2016, Legal Adviser from June 2016-June 2018, Alternate Chairman, Welfare Committee, NBA Owerri Branch August 2014, Member, Local Organizing Committee of the NBA National Conference, Owerri 2014, Alternate Secretary, NBA Law Week Organizing Committee, 2015, Chairman, NBA Owerri AGC Logistics Committee, Abuja 2018, Member, NBA Journal Committee, Member, NBA Continuing Legal Education Committee, Alternate Chairman, NBA Owerri Journal Committee, 2022 till date.

Dr. Udegbulem would definitely give the work more than 100% attention if elected as the Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association, Owerri Branch.
