People’s Advocate and Constitutional Lawyer, Chief Mike Ozekhome, SAN has urged Nigerians to fear not as Christ has conquered death.

In a message of hope for better days to come, the Senior advocate said “Today, our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, died in our place and for us, for the redemption of our sins. He resurrected on the third day, to resume His place in glory with the father, God Almighty.

“In John 20:21, the disciples of Jesus locked themselves up for fear of the Jews (self-quarantine). Only doubting Thomas was absent (those still doubting that there truly exists Covid-19 and that it is real). Jesus said to them,”peace be unto you”. Jesus had Himself gone on a “Self isolation in the grave for our sins to be redeemed. He was unduly `quarantined even though He tested negative to sin. His Resurrection from His Isolation Centre after three days forms the very foundation for our redemption-our release from the lock down by sin. Anyone who has been infected by the virus of sin can still be sanitized and he/she will recover through the already manufactured vaccine of the Blood of Jesus. He/she will subsequently live a Victorious Life through the Ventilator of the Holy Spirit already put in place. Fear not Compatriots, for Christ is RISEN and we have risen with Him from our sins. We therefore have every reason and cause to rejoice and be glad for making us conquerors of death.
