Fuel Scarcity: Let the scam continue by Abu Ruqayyah

The head of ‘Change’ government is very intelligent to have discovered those responsible in the history of Nigeria for fuel scarcity and unreasonable hike of fuel price.
In 1999 – 2007 = Olusegun Obasanjo. In 2011 – 2015 = Goodluck Jonathan.
The above names were found guilty beyond reasonable doubt in Baba’s court of Change during their tenure of office as Presidents of the FRN. This decision was affirmed by the Nigerians’ Court of social media and Vanguards.

Amazingly, between 2015 – 2017 the ‘oil cabals and marketers’ surreptitiously turn out to be the sole people responsible for the fuel scarcity and hike of fuel price. Nobody is blaming the president for political, regional or religion reason. This is national suicide.

Baba deliberately ignored to apply the principle of ‘stare decisis’ even though the facts at hand is apparently the same with Obasanjo & Goodluck case. I mean why blaming the oil cabals and marketers not the himself for failing to take the appropriate to alleviate Nigerians suffering especially in this festive period? I am not celebrating Christmas but been affected as victim of circumstance.

Apology, I remember, we are in change government. Everything has to be change including those responsible for the current fuel scarcity.

Accepted, oil cabals and marketers are responsible for Nigerians suffering in respect to the fuel scarcity. Baba, what step have you make to bring those fuel sabotages to face the wrath of law? None, I guess.

May I respectfully refer Baba to sections 1, 2, 3 & 4 of the Petroleum Production and Distribution (Anti-Sabotage) Act 1975. While s. 1 talk on the offences of sabotage, s. 2 provide for punishment of the offender found liable which is death sentence or 21 years imprisonment. S. 4 empower the Federal High Court with the jurisdiction. Interpretation is provided under s. 4 of the Act. ‘Vehicle’ according to the Act means any constructed or adopted for use in transportation of petroleum product by land, sea or air.

It is evident from provisions of the Act above, any person wilfully does anything with intent to obstruct or prevent the production or distribution of petroleum product in any part of Nigeria committed a serious offence and if found guilty will be liable on conviction death sentence or 21 years imprisonment.

It is my humble view, Baba, having discovered those responsible for the present fuel sabotage after a change research ought to have order for the arrest and prosecution of the perpetrators of this henious crime, if truelly his Anti-Corruption fight is sincere and for public interest. What prevent the law enforcement agencies (NPF, DSS, EFCC etc) to arrest and prosecute the oil cabal & marketers who were found responsible for the fuel sabotage by Baba’s court of change? I guess they were not politically corrupt.

As we continue to blame the Oil cabals and Marketers for the present fuel scarcity out of selfishness and unpatriotic action, and further deliberate refusal to invoke provisions of the Act cited having recourse to the present fact at hand, fuel station sells at 230 per litre while transportation vehicles charge travellers at their own discretion. I am lucky to pay 3500 from Abuja-Lafia unlike the earlier amount 800 naira.

Thank you Baba, let the SCAM continue.
God bless Nigeria and instill the fear of YOU in our Leaders’ heart.
