Gadzama has Agreed to Withdraw Court Case against NBA – AB Mahmoud
The legal tussle between Nigerian Bar Association and Chief JK Gadzama SAN will soon come to an end as Chief Gadzama has Agreed to Withdraw the case from Court.
This was made known by the NBA President AB Mahmoud SAN while reading his President’s report at the Annual General Meeting of the Association held at Landmark Event Center Lagos on Thursday 24 August 2017.

According to the NBA President, the trustees of the Association has been holding meetings with Chief Gadzama on the matter and at the last meeting of trustees with Chief Gadzama, the Plaintiff agreed in principle to Withdraw the case from the court.
It will be recalled that Chief Gadzama had sued the trustees of the Association and the NBA President immediately after the Association’s National Election which he contested against Mr Mahmoud and lost alleging election malpractices and demanded a total cancelation of the election of the NBA Presidential election and an order for fresh election. Chief Gadzama further sought unsuccessfully to get a Court Injuction stopping the swearing in of Mr AB Mahmoud as NBA President.
Among the Prominent members of the Association present at the Association’s Annual General Meeting was Chief Emeka Ngige SAN, the Lead Counsel of Chief Gadzama in Court.
