Hijab: AB Mahmoud SAN should be dragged to LPDC for conduct unbecoming of a legal practitioner- Daniel Bwala

Daniel Bwala Esq

A popular Abuja based lawyer, Mr Daniel Bwala has described the comment of the Nigerian Bar Association NBA President AB Mahmoud SAN on the “hijab controversy” as “a conduct unbecoming of a legal practitioner” for which he should immediately be dragged to the legal practitioners disciplinary Committee for trial.

According to the Lawyer, the NBA President’s comment was the reason why the hijab argument has dragged on. The comment, the lawyer claim has exposed the association to “unnecessary embarrassment”.

Mr Bwala warn the legal practitioners “monitors” that if they fail to drag the NBA President to the LPDC, they should “FOREVER SHUT THEIR MOUTHS from harassing and intimidating junior lawyers”

Below is Mr Bwala’s comment

Hijab v Call to Bar saga

This whole saga and the noise around it would have ended the same day, but for the comments made by the PRESIDENT OF THE NIGERIAN BAR ASSOCIATION. (Although we knew why). The President”s comment which has now afflicted the legal profession and community with unnecessary embarrassment is A CONDUCT UNBECOMING OF A LEGAL PRACTITONER. We are waiting for monitors, prefects and headmasters to drag him to the disciplinary committee of the NBA or FOREVER SHUT THEIR MOUTHS from harassing and intimidating junior lawyers
