HMB App Will Increase Young Lawyers’ Income and Ease the Stress On Law Firms
It was an impressive presentation on Wednesday, 8th September, 2022 when the Partners at Lithos Legal Consult presented the new innovation in Legal Practice in Nigeria HMB Mobile App to members of the Osogbo Bar at the monthly Bar meeting.
The presentation of the App HMB (Hold My Brief) started from how to download the App through the website www.holdmybrief.com, to signing up, topping up of wallet, posting your brief to get a lawyer to hold the brief, chat box and uploading documents.
While responding to questions on the App which is aimed at helping lawyers who have matters they do not have time to attend to personally either outside or within jurisdiction get the service of another lawyer anywhere in Nigeria, the developers who are also practicing lawyers said two things motivated the initiative. The first being the kind of stress law firms go through when they have matters mostly outside jurisdiction which is at the preliminary stage and does not really require much expertise but they still had to travel all the way.
The other being more young lawyers who are on the Mobile App will have the opportunity of making more money since they will most likely be the majority in taking up the brief posted on the App.
