Lagos Chief Judge Relocates Igbosere High Court to Ikeja & Tafawa Balewa Square

The Chief Judge of Lagos State, Hon. Justice Kazeem O. Alogba has approved the temporary Relocation of Offices In the High Court of Lagos State, Igbosere.

 

In a statement signed by the Chief Registrar, O.A. Okunuga, on Thursday, the relocation is a temporary one.

The statement reads “I have the directive of the Hon. Chief Judge of¬† Lagos State, Hon. Justice Kazeem O. Alogba,¬† to¬† inform the General Public and all the Court Users that¬† as¬†¬† a¬† result¬†¬† of¬† the¬† aftermath¬† of¬†¬† the¬† EndSARS¬†¬† protest¬† in¬† the vandalization,¬† looting and burning of the entire Court House of the Lagos High Court, Igbosere,¬† major¬† sections/¬† departments of the High Court have been temporarily relocated to Ikeja High Court and Tafawa Balewa Square (Annex of the Lagos High Court) as indicated below:

  1. LITIGATION SECTION: Tafawa Balewa Square (Annex) Lagos.
  1. DEPUTY SHERIFF   SECTION:   Rosaline  Omotosho Court  House, Ikeja

iii, PROBATE REGISTRY:  Ikeja High Court by Polaris Bank building

iv,     OFFICIAL RECEIVER: Tafawa Balewa Square (Annex) Lagos

 

While we seek your¬† utmost cooperation on this temporary¬† measures, we use this medium to appreciate the support of the entire public during this trying period of the Lagos State Judiciary,” the statement reads.
