MULAN national condoles the family of late Dr Aliyu Usman Imam
The National President, Prof Abdulqadir Ibrahim Abikan on behalf of the entire members of the Muslim Lawyers’ Association of Nigeria (MULAN) commiserates with the family of Dr Aliyu Usman Imam who went the way of all flesh today, 27th February, 2021 (15th Rajab, 1442 AH). Until his demise, Dr Imam was the Chairman of the FCT – Abuja Branch of MULAN.
Undoubtedly, his physical presence, drive for excellence, sense of responsibility, serious commitment and devotion to duty will be sorely missed especially at this critical time. However, as devout Muslims, we are consoled by the belief that Dr Imam did acquit himself well in his duties to his creator, Allah, SWT. He ran his race and like all mortals, he has gone the way of all flesh to meet his creator. Inna lillah wa inna illaihi rajiun – From Allah did we come and to Him shall we return.
The hearts of all members of MULAN are with his family and loved ones, in particular, members of the FCT – Abuja Branch at this period. We pray that Allah forgives whatever shortcomings Dr Aliyu Usman Imam may have had and grant him permanent rest in Aljanat Firdaus. We pray that Allah grant us all the fortitude to bear his loss.
