In 2017, the NBA Lagos Branch under the administration of Chukwuka Ikwuazom had organized the branch’s Annual Bar Dinner with a dinner lecture delivered by Mr. Aigboje Aig-Imoukhouede, CON, the former managing director and chief executive of Access Bank Plc on The Economic Outlook for 2018.

Fast forward to 26th May, 2023, in faraway Ekiti State, at the NBA Ado Ekiti Branch dinner held as part of the branch’s 2023 law week activities, Chukwuka Ikwuazom SAN delivered a dinner lecture on “The Law and The Economy: Finding a Pathway for a Prosperous Post Election Nation Nigeria”

Chukwuka in his usual brilliant way did justice to the topic from reeling statistics on the state of the economy to emphasizing the impact of the adherence to the rule of law on the economy. The hall listened with rapt attention as Mr. Ikwuazom in his flowing white Agbada and fila Ijebu analyzed the topic.

At the end of a fantastic delivery of a lecture on a very critical topic that touches on the reality we are faced with as a country, Chukwuka Ikwuazom SAN was given a rapturous applause and the whole hall stood to acknowledge a brilliant speech.

My Lord Hon. Justice M.O. Abodunde, President Ekiti State Customary Court of Appeal on behalf of the Ado Ekiti branch presented the Distinguished Legal Personality Award to Mr. Ikwuazom.

Proud to have been part of history with the Learned Silk in Lagos in 2017 and again today in Ado Ekiti in 2023 at the very fantastic and beautiful dinner organized by the Ado Ekiti branch. Along with me Kunle Olaofe, Folasade Ajibola, Justice John and Anita Oshogwe were in the Learned Silk’s entourage to Ado Ekiti.
