Chairman of the Branch; IDRIS ABAYOMI SHEHU, ESQ who led the Welfare Committee’s delegation to visit BURABARI ADULE NKOR in Bori, Rivers State, thanked Chairman of the NBA National Welfare Committee; Chief Emeka OZOANI, SAN for his benevolence and kind heartedness.

Chief Emeka OZOANI SAN who has hitherto donated money towards the treatment of the sick lawyer, presented a motorised wheel chair and the sum of 1,000,000.00 (One Million Naira) only for his physiotherapy.

Chief Emeka OZOANI SAN however resounded the commitment of the NBA and the welfare committee towards the quick recovery of the Sick lawyer.

Later on, the learned SAN, extended his visit to Wiiyakara, wherein he visited the palace of the Traditional Ruler of Wiiyakara, Menebua Yaasere, H.R.H., Mene Leyira Lazarus Akpee-Nwanam, who warmly welcomed him and later conferred him with a chieftaincy title; “Mene Yereba 1 of Ogoni Kingdom”, in recognition/appreciation of his numerous good deeds and support for the Ogoni people in the legal profession.

As a branch, we thank Chief Emeka Ozoani, SAN, “Mene Yereba 1 of Ogoniland”, for his kind gestures and pray that God blesses him beyond measures, while also praying that the health of our colleague is quickly restored.
