Nigerian Bar Association Ogbomoso Branch is set to have her 3rd Annual week and the Maiden Edition of the Hon. Justice Atilade Ojo (Rtd) Annual Lecture Series with the Theme: Legal Profession, Judicial System & Contemporary National Issues.

The event is scheduled to hold from Tuesday the 28th day of  November  to Friday, the 1st December, 2023 at Elisam Events Centre, No. 1 Imperial Hotel Road, along Ogbomoso/llorin road, Aroje Area, Ogbomoso, Oyo state

According to programe of events released by the Branch, Tuesday the 28th day of November 2023 will witness a Health walk, Games & Chillz that will take off from Soun Ogunlola town hall to the High Court, Oke Ado by 7:00am.

The Maiden edition of the Hon. Justice Atilade Ojo (Rtd) Annual Lecture Series will hold on Wednesday, the 29th of November 2023 at Elisam Events Centre No. 1 Imperial Hotel Road,
along Ogbemoso/llorin road, Aroje Area, Ogbomoso, Oyo state by Time 10:00am.

Dr. M.N.O Olopade, SAN will present the 1st lecture with the Topic: CORRUPTION, SOCIETY AND THE LEGAL PROFESSION; WHITHER THE BAR? while SAM KARGBO, SAN will present the 2nd lecture with the Topic: SOCIAL AND LEGAL ISSUES OF SOCIAL MEDIA & ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN NIGERIA.

The Law week Lecture will hold on Thursday the 30th of November 2023  at Elisam Events Centre No. 1 Imperial Hotol Road, along Ogbomoso/lorin road, Aroje Area, Ogbomoso, Oyo state by Time: 10:000m

The Keynote Speaker is the legendary Mallam Yusuf Olaolu Alli, SAN on the Topic: LAW, SOCIAL MEDIA AND THE ADVENT OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE.

Friday the 1st of December will see a Jumat Service at Central Mosque Lautech, Ogbomoso, Oyo state by 1:00pm and a Law Dinner at Soun Ogunlola town Hall, Oja-Igbo, Ogbomoso Oyo State by  4:00pm Prompt.

The Special Thanksgiving Church Service will hold at  Living faith church (Winners Chapel) Isale-General Ogbomoso Oyo State by 9:30am

Specially Invited Guests for the Law Week are NBA Past General Secretaries, Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN and Madam Joyce Oduah, Former Chairman of NBA Lagos Branch, Chukwuka Ikwuazom, SAN and  the NBA National Chairman of the Governing Board of the Institute of Continuous Legal Education, Tobenna Erojikwe.

The Special Guest of Honor for the Law Week is Hon. Justice I. S. Yerima, The Chief Judge of Oyo state, while the Guest of Honor is Abiodun Aikomo Esq, the Honorable Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice Oyo State.

Also the 3rd speaker Akeem Aponmade Esq. will address the topic, “Protecting IP Rights, Image Rights, and Data Privacy Rights in the Age of Social Media”.
