The Honourable, The Chief Judge,
Hon. Justice Halima Ibrahim Abdulmalik,
Niger State Judiciary,
Minna, Niger State
My Lord,
WORKSHOP ON EFFECTIVE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE NIGER STATE ADMINISTRATION OF CRIMINAL JUSTICE LAW, 2023:
A LETTER OF COMMENDATION!
I am motivated by my sincere impulse to put on record, this commendation to a Jurist Per Excellence, an avid administrator, a Leader, Judicial Juggernaut and a pacesetter whose versatility and sterling qualities has now placed Niger State Judiciary in its deserving and rightful position. My Lord, Suleja Bar is delighted to have you as a worthy partner in the Justice Sector administration.
By a letter dated 7th September, 2023, I received an invitation to attend the above scheduled workshop carefully designed for the Magistrates in Niger State to expose them to the provisions of the new ACJL of the State. Indeed, My Lord, this workshop came at a deserving time considering the strategic role it played in helping our Magistrates to have the requisite training needed towards the effective application of the noble provisions of the Criminal Law.
The workshop which held on the 12th and 13th of September, 2023 afforded the magistrates the opportunity of interaction and having first hand practical knowledge of the application of the new law to the handling of criminal matters in their Courts. It is therefore apposite to commend My Lord, the Honourable, the Chief Judge for this well thought out initiative.
The saying which goes thus: that the signs of a good Friday are always seen from Wednesday aptly captures your assumption of responsibilities as the Chief Judge of Niger State. Indeed, it is crystal clear that the Judiciary in Niger State is lucky to have My Lord at the helm of affairs.
My Lord, as a practitioner and student, I make bold to say that you have inspired me with your novel practices as an eminent jurist, commitment and dedication to duty and your passion for industry & competence.
May My Lord be pleased! I pray the Almighty grants you sound health and wisdom to continue with the great work you are doing for the Judiciary in Niger State.
Let me equally place on record, the resolve of the Bar to support your efforts in addressing the challenges confronting the administration of justice in the State.
Yours Sincerely,
Ibrahim A. Bako Esq., (Notary Public)
Chairman, Nigerian Bar Association, Suleja Branch.
