NUJ honours NBA Legal Adviser, Chief Balogun for championing the Course of Justice in Nigeria

The Kwara State chapter of the Nigerian Union of Journalists ‘NUJ’ has nominated The Nigerian Bar Association Legal Adviser, Chief Rafiu Oyeyemi Balogun (Baloo) for an award in its 2017 press week for championing the Course of Justice in Nigeria.
The frontline legal practitioner was honored with the award of ” ADVOCATE OF GOOD GOVERNANCE AND RULE OF LAW” for championing the Course of Justice, good governance and equity in Nigeria Democratic experiment.

In a letter signed by NUJ Chairman Comrade Abiodun AbdulKareem and NUJ secretary, Comrade Babatunde Jimba, the Journalist union lauded the NBA Legal Adviser for his outstanding work as former Chairman of NBA Ilorin Branch.
Commenting on the NBA Legal Chief’s sterling leadership role as Ilorin Chairman of NBA, the letter stated,
Worthy of note Sir, is your disposition as a former Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association NBA Ilorin Branch to the pursuant of fairness and Justice among members of your union.
Sir, the feat and mark your leadership achieved at the bar center and Judiciary have no doubt help in speedy dispensation of Justice in Kwara State.
The award will be conferred on its recipients on Friday 29th December 2017 at the NUJ Press center in Ilorin.
