I salute the Gbenga Bodunde led YLF EXCO and the entire young lawyers of the NBA Ikeja branch on this occasion of their Legal Workshop themed; ‘Drafting & Reviewing of Commercial Agreements’, holding today, the 13th day of February, 2020.

Trainings and capacity building programs of this sort are critical to charting a positive future for the Legal Profession and the Bar, hence I commend the initiators of this program for their wisdom and efforts at securing the future.

I commend the Bar leaders of NBA Ikeja and other facilitators and sponsors of this event for championing the cause of young lawyers. The future Bar would be as great as we want it, if only we continue such critical investments in the younger members of the Profession today. They are the future we see.

My dear young lawyers of Ikeja Bar, may this capacity building program serve as a springboard to broadening your legal knowledge and further accentuate your professional goals and aspirations.

As I urge you to continue keeping faith with the Profession, for a brighter future is near, here’s wishing you a fruitful and very inspiring Law workshop.

Okey Leo Ohagba
Former NBA 1st Assistant General Secretary.
