Pictures as FIDA holds 2-Day intensive Leadership Training

The International Federation of Women Lawyers, Abuja branch in collaboration with FIDA Nigeria on 22nd February 2024 hosted other state chapters of the North Central Zone in an intensive training on Leadership.

The program was organized to build capacity of members of the various branches present toward the attainment of the mission, vision and objects of FIDA.

A report by the Publicity Secretary of Abuja Branch, Olosen Victoria Ibiezugbe, the first session of the training commenced with a presentation on Leadership 101 by the Past Chairperson FIDA Abuja Branch, Mrs Roseline Obiagheli Nwosu, who lectured participants on the Characteristics of a Leader, Roles of a Leader, Team Building/Teamwork. Afterwards, participants engaged in a breakout session wherein group members participated in a roleplay of the various types/styles of leadership ranging from Autocratic, Democratic, Bureaucratic, Laissez-Faire, Servant Leadership, People Oriented Leadership, Task Leadership and Charismatic Leadership.

Present at the training were the Country Vice President, Mrs. Amina Susana Agbaje and members of the FIDA Nigeria Executive; CVP Emerita, Mrs. Rhoda Tyoden, Chairperson FIDA Abuja, Chibuzo M. Nwosu and members of her Executives; Chairpersons of branches, EXCO, past officials (both Branch and National) and members of state branches duly represented.

The moderator and Assistant National Publicity Secretary, Shaltha Nachammada, gave a comprehensive lecture on the Components of a Good Report, citing Clarity, Accuracy, Objectivity, Brevity and Grammar as some of the components of a good report.
