On Saturday, 14th January 2023, Fundacion Exito will host the 5th Edition of the Fundacion Exito “#R8Convergence Integrated Global Competitiveness Strategy for Economic Development (RIGCSED) Dialogue Series, with the theme, “WOMEN IN NATION BUILDING: THE SYNERGY OF POLITICS, GOVERNANCE, ECONOMY, CULTURE & FAITH”.

This is a virtual event, a final 3-Part combination of a 4-Part “#R8Convergence Empowered Woman Series” fjocused on addressing the role of women in Nation Building particularly within the 4 Pillars of Civilisation as #TheNewNigeria dawns with a view to support the advancement of women across diverse fronts, promote sustained opportunities for women and contribute to the building of an integrated community of empowered women who play a pivotal role in our economic development as a nation at the national and sub-national levels; especially as we approach the 2023 general elections. Taylaur

Tari Taylaur is a media professional and TV producer with vast experience serving clients in both the public and private sectors. She is passionate about improving the welfare of young people and has served as a volunteer in projects across education, food security, voter enlightenment and environmental advocacy.

Tari is currently the Vice Chairman – Environment of a Lekki zone and is the Environment Secretary for Lekki Estate Residents Association (LERA). In 2021, Mrs. Taylaur, a candidate of the Youth Party (YP), ran for the office of Councillor, Eti-osa LGA Ward A (Lekki 1 – Femi Okunnu).

Tari Taylaur is the duly nominated candidate of the Youth Party (YP) to represent Eti-Osa 1 at the State House of Assembly in the 2023 elections and she is campaigning on a clear strategy to transform the environment and create jobs for the many unemployed youths in the constituency.

The goal of the conversation is to practically address the Role of Women in Politics, Governance, the Economy, Culture and Faith; and how the synergy and balance enables the woman contribute positively to Nation Building within global and local realities.

The conversation would navigate these issues exhaustively with a view to put women in the front burner of the February 2023 General Elections in Nigeria; encourage collaboration, pull resources together to push the agenda for women advancement; and contribute to the Fundacion Exito TEWAT Global Agenda for raising a new Tribe of Empowered Women in Politics, Governance, Leadership, Management & Business.

With her diversity and experience, Tari is poised to critically address the theme, and help participants understand the influence of women in our socio-economic development as a country in the short, medium to long term.
