Waking up on the morning of 30^th day of October, 2021 to learnt that on the eve of 29th day of October, 2021 the house of My Lord Hon. Justice Mary ODILI JSC was ransacked was really alarming.

This is so simply because, it would be recalled in the year 2016 that similar feat repeated itself to wit some of the houses of My Lords in the Supreme Court was scrupulously under marauded. The saddest aspect of this happenings is that, nothing has been done to curb this act till date.

Hon. Justice Mary Odili’s house been sieged ought to be the least that should have happened. If the house of the 2^nd most superior Hon. Justice in Nigeria can be sieged then the judiciary and general public isn’t safe anymore.

This happening is simply an attack on the JUDICIARY and as such both the Bar and Bench must not be silence on this and all in highly placed positions should do all they could to make sure that, those behind this attack are apprehended and the reasons if any behind their actions should be made known to the world.

Anything done both in life and law with bad faith respectively, then such act(s) is totally bad. This is another clap on the face of the judiciary after that of 5 years ago. Judiciary being the third arms of government ought to be treated with respect and honour. All stakeholders must ensure that this ugly attack come to an end as soon as possible.
