SAD: Encyclopedia of the Bar, Baba Emmanuel Abiodun is Dead

The patron of the Nigerian Bar Association, Ibadan Branch, Baba Emmanuel Abiodun is Dead.

 

Announcing his demise, Ibrahim lawal described the late Baba Abiodun as a consumate Bar Man, an honest, compassionate and generous man.

According to him “I was jolted by the announcement of your death this morning through my WhatsApp handle. The last time we met was at the NBA Ibadan Dinner organised to mark the end of the 2020 Law week wherein you welcomed the newly appointed patrons, Prince Lateef Fagbemi SAN and Asiwaju Niyi Akintola SAN to your midst.

“Baba Emmanuel Abiodun until his death was the patron of the NBA Ibadan Branch, an encyclopedia of the Bar and a humour merchant. Baba was honest, compassionate and generous. If you are fortunate to meet baba in court outside jurisdiction, you are sure of a sumptuous meal regardless of the numbers of lawyers in that court. Baba consistently provides dinner for Ibadan Bar at the NBA National conference regardless of where it is taking place.

“Do you want to mention assistance in terms of professional development? What you need only need is to approach baba, and your problem is solved.

“Baba Emmanuel Abiodun is a memory that cannot be forgotten. May God Almighty forgive his shortcomings and grant him paradise,” he said.
