by ·

As Nigeria heads toward the 2027 general elections, the Social Democratic Party (SDP) is already facing internal turmoil. Tensions erupted on Monday when angry protesters stormed the party’s National Secretariat in Wuse 2, Abuja, and forcefully brought down the main gate.

The demonstration coincided with a meeting of the party’s National Working Committee, which was taking place inside the building at the time.
