Tension Mounts as Missing Lagos Banker Found Brutally Murdered with Machete Wounds at Yaba Morgue
The body of 26-year-old Lagos banker Osemudiamen Idemudia was found at a morgue in Yaba, Lagos, several days after he was reported missing. Idemudia, who worked in the Point-of-Sale department of a commercial bank in Ikota, was last seen on May 9 near CMS, Lagos Island.
A family member, Segun, confirmed that the deceased was discovered with machete cuts on his head, face, and legs, indicating a violent attack. “We have found Osemudiamen’s body. He was murdered. I’m so sad,” Segun said.
After an extensive search across hospitals and mortuaries in Lagos State, the family finally located the body. Morgue staff informed them that police officers had deposited the corpse, but could not provide details on where it was found or the officers involved.
