The Nigeria We Dream of is Not Beyond Our Reach” — Chief Emeka Ozoani SAN Celebrates Nigeria at 66
Today, we celebrate 66 years of Nigeria’s independence and, above all, the enduring spirit of our people. Ours has never been a perfect journey, but through every challenge, Nigerians have continued to show resilience, creativity, courage and an extraordinary capacity to hope.
Nigeria remains a land of immense possibilities. Across our cities and communities are young people with brilliant ideas, entrepreneurs building against the odds, professionals making their mark, farmers feeding the nation, and ordinary Nigerians whose determination keeps our country moving. The Nigeria we dream of is not beyond our reach; it requires courage, responsible leadership, hard work and a shared commitment to the common good.
On this Independence Day, let us choose hope over despair and unity over division. Our differences should never be greater than our shared identity as Nigerians. When we look after one another, give every citizen a fair opportunity to thrive and believe in the potential of our country, we strengthen the Nigeria we will leave for the next generation.
May Nigeria continue to rise, may her people prosper, and may the vast possibilities of this great nation become realities in our lifetime.
Happy 66th Independence Anniversary, Nigeria.
God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Chief Emeka Ozoani, SAN
