“We Performed Under His Direction”: Former Escort Backs Cassie’s Abuse Claims in Court, Reveals Dark Truths Behind Diddy’s S3x Parties
A former escort, known professionally as “Skyler,” has broken his silence about his role in the controversial parties allegedly organized by music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs—events now central to a federal s3x trafficking investigation.
The escort, whose real name is Shawn Dearing, came forward after his identity and photo were made public during Cassie Ventura’s emotional testimony. Ventura, a former girlfriend of Combs, has accused the rapper of years of abuse, coercion, and manipulation, including forcing her to participate in orchestrated s3x parties she described as “Freak Offs.”

During her testimony, Ventura, 38, detailed how she was required to engage in s3xual activities with male escorts at the direction of Combs. Dearing was one of more than 10 men allegedly hired for these encounters, which Ventura said she was coerced into attending.
In an interview with People Magazine, Dearing claimed he was hired for more than a dozen s3x sessions involving both Combs and Ventura, beginning around late 2014 or early 2015. He confirmed that he met the couple through the escort site Cowboys4Angels.
While Dearing emphasized that he never witnessed physical violence, he described what he called “psychological control” exerted over Ventura. “We did everything under his direction,” he said, referring to Combs. “There was a constant energy of knowing that we must perform for him—or else.”
He described Ventura’s behavior during the parties as emotionally detached, saying she seemed “like a drone.” On one occasion, Dearing said he tried to speak to Ventura when Combs left the room, but she refused, saying, “No, no, no. Not until he gets back.”
Dearing claimed there was a clear, unspoken understanding that Ventura would face consequences if she disobeyed Combs’ instructions, although he admitted he was never told what those consequences might be.
He also detailed locations where the so-called “Freak Offs” took place, including the Beverly Hills Hotel and a private condo on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles.
Reflecting on Ventura’s testimony, Dearing called her “a badass lady” and “uplifting,” praising her for her courage and authenticity. “She was genuine throughout the whole experience,” he said.
He added, “I want what’s best for her. I want her respect, first and foremost.”
Ventura’s allegations, including those involving Dearing, are part of a growing legal storm surrounding Sean Combs, who is now facing multiple civil lawsuits and a federal investigation into alleged s3x trafficking and abuse.
