YLF council secures sponsorship deal with Chinese company to train Members Abroad
The Leadership of the Young Lawyers Forum has successfully secured a sponsorship deal with Mutual Commitment Group Limited (MCG) – a Chinese company operating in Nigeria, for the training of its members in IT abroad.
This is coming after a meeting between the chairman of the YLF council, Mr A.T Aboki and the MD of Mutual Commitment Group Ltd.
A statement by the Publicity Secretary, Mina Obeten reads “It is important to note that this training is in furtherance of the objective of the YLF to build capacity in young lawyers as we live in a digital, technological and interconnected world and the young lawyers need relevant skills that should help them succeed. We believe this is a step in the right direction and this training program will equip the selected young lawyers with 21st century skills to help them thrive in the legal industry and the world at large. The training is to commence in the 1st quarter of 2024 at no cost to the Council.
